| Stanford overcomes Army's ground game and wins 34-20

The Stanford defense limited Army (1-2) to two touchdowns, one of which came with 17 seconds left in the game.Army's ground game clicked for 284; however the West Pointers only had 49 passing yards. Quarterbacks A.J.Schurr and Angel Santiago attempted 10 passes between them.Schurr hit Edgar Poe from six yards out in the closing seconds.
