Fed's QE2 'Cheap Money' Spurs Investment Abroad,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
JOSEPH STIGLITZ: So the money ( QE2) isn't going into the American economy. The lending is actually below what it was in 2007. In a globalized economy, the money is looking for the best place to go. And where is it finding it? In the emerging markets. So,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the irony is that money that was intended to rekindle the American economy is causing havoc all over the world. Those elsewhere in the world say,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], what the United States is trying to do is the twenty-first century version of "beggar thy neighbor" policies that were part of the Great Depression: you strengthen yourself by hurting the others. You can't do protectionism in the old version of raising tariffs, but what you can do is lower your exchange rate, and that's what low interest rates are trying to do, weaken the dollar. The flood of liquidity abroad is trying to push the exchange rates abroad. You can never compete with cheap labor in the third world. Impossible. Obama hasn't had time to to offshore anything yet. He didn't create, nor has he been a party to anything connected with the shipping jobs overseas theory. Incase you haven't heard, that started many years ago and without his consent. And if you know are privy to "facts" that I'm not confirming your statement,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], would appreciate your sharing them. We live in an international community and that's not going to change. We're not going back to the way things "use to be". If you haven't gotten on board with that, you should retreat into a cave. We might even get to a point where it's considered civilized. The alternative is Iraq,Afghanistan,. Israel-Hamas, Mexican drug lords,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],etc etc.
We were happy in the days when big business went into countries, plundered their resources after sending in the christian missionaries to tame the savages. We are the culprits, going about living the "american dream",[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], lacking any consideration for others who suffered as a result of our excessive consumption. We elected proponents of big business. As long as we were doing fine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to hell with everyone else. Now big business is eating it's own,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and we now cry fowl. Seemingly, it's
ok when we rape and pillage,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but when the tables are turned and big business is no longer our friend, only beholding to its shareholders and the overly compensated CEO's, we're unwilling to grasp or admit we're like everyone one else, selfish, narcissistic, ethnocentric,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and self serving. We want to maintain the status quo as the world's great superpower, defying anyone who would shatter that image. Then defying government to reign in big business, giving them power to continue their assault on "our way of life". Someone other than ourselves,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], ie. We would have laws that the money remain in the country. We would protect our own domestic industry. We would buy American because we produced in America.
But no. No, TML,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you are insane. The problems are too complicated for your feeble comprehension. What this nation needs is a new generation of truely educated Americans who can appreciate and cope with complexity. This new generation will be able to solve our debt,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], trade deficits and those persistent fiscal deficits.
Our present untutored generation of Americans is incapable of the deep thought and penetrating analyses required of our emerging age. We must appropriate 100 billion dollars immediately to hire another 10,000 educators and 20,000 law enforcement officiers. Uneducated people are prone to lawlessness.
FED RESERVE FOUNDED IN 1913 by BANKSTERS and their Politicians to PRODUCE DEBT OUT OF THIN AIR.
1913 USA #1 Creditor Nation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! MANUFACTURING AND EXPORTS #1 EC0N0MIC SECT0R and Banking less than 10% of Economy!
100 Years of FED "DEBT OUT OF THIN AIR" HANDED TO THE BANKSTERS NOW AT ZERO% TO CHARGE USURY INTEREST to all MAIN STREET AMERICANS!
WHILE BANKSTERS GAMBLE WITH ZERO% MONEY,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!
2010 USA #1 DEBTOR NATION BANKING #1 INDUSTRY and 70+% of Economy! AMERICA'S REAL Economy in DECAY!
FED = CONSOLIDATOR OF POWER IN THE HANDS OF INTERNATIONAL BANKSTERS! No help during or since the Great Depression except to the RICHEST 400 People in the WORLD!
