So now one of Hollywood's most famous footwear fiends is having to (mostly) kick her heels to the curb. "The moral of the story is, the chickens are coming home to roost. It's sad,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], because my feet took me all over the world, but eventually they were like,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 'You know what,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we are really tired,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], can you just stop ?? and don't put cheap shoes on us?'
For ten or so years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Sex and the City star "literally ran in heels,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Parker says. "I worked 18-hour days and never took them off. I wore beautiful shoes, some better made than others,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and never complained."
And then for 2011's I Don't Know How She Does It,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the actress got all method-y. "I was very thoughtful about my whole wardrobe and said, 'You know, (her character,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Kate Reddy) could not afford really good shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], she would go to Nine West.'
"So I got shoes from there and the bottom of the shoes aren't leather,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they are plastic,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so I slipped a couple times, twisted my ankle." And got that most unfashionable diagnosis from her doctor.
But it's not just Parker's shoe collection that's getting neglected these days: The mom of three confesses she wears just 7% of the clothes in her closet. "I have more pants, more jeans and more corduroys than I ever imagined I'd own in my life."
